What a wonderful, loving, open, fun woman your Mom Mary Alyce. There are many highlights though the years. Dinner out at Timpone's the ERA march in Springfield, her flurry of coming home in tennis skirts with snacks, 4th of July parties with big vats of butter pecan from Baskin Robins (I remember driving in the brown Accord to pick it up one year). Talking politics, talking friends, your mom was so open and curious and always made you feel seen.

Your mom, for lack of a better word, was cool. She just was.
